Proofing-Inspired Typeface Design

Typeface Design / Concept


This typeface explores the process of bread fermentation through three visual stages: under-proofed, proofing, and over-proofed.

The letterforms evolve from tight and restrained shapes to expanded and finally distorted structures, translating the transformation of dough into typographic form. The project reflects how time, growth, and imbalance can be expressed through type design.
