Let’s Make Bread is an interactive website that presents the bread-making process as an intuitive, recipe-like journey. Users follow six key steps, from mixing to baking, with interactive prompts, real graphic icons, and playful animations guiding them along the way. Each step reveals floating text on the screen, building layer by layer, until all six steps are completed. Only then can the screen be cleared. This design choice is a personal metaphor. In my own baking experience, I often felt anxious about making mistakes, constantly checking the recipe for reassurance. It wasn't until reaching the final step that I felt safe enough to set the instructions aside.
Through this interaction, Let’s Make Bread captures the emotional rhythm of learning, patience, and the quiet relief of completion, turning a simple recipe into an immersive emotional experience.
