They carry memory, even as distance grows
CANG brings these flavors into a new formfamiliar, 
rooted in where they come from
A taste of home for some, and a way in for others


Tagline: 
Where memory meets This project explores pastry as a medium for cultural expression, reimagining Chinese pastries in a contemporary way. Responding to my experience as part of the diaspora, I noticed how pastries from my culture are often selected or represented without emotional connection. This project reinterprets them to carry memory, identity, and a sense of belonging




Problem:
Pastries from my culture are often represented without emotional depth, losing their connection to memory and identity

Solution:
Presenting cultural pastries through a minimal, abstract surface while embedding memory, identity, and cultural meaning within an underlying system
